Kitchen Art Studio in Mira Mesa offers many classes for troop meetings.
Girls have the opportunity to work hands-on with recipes and eat the fruits of their labor and are guided by one of our four female chef Mentors. All classes fulfill qualifications for Badge Recognitions: Petals, Try Its and Interest Projects. You will be learning and experiencing life skills that are yours to keep and encompass all three keys to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

Age Levels: 5-17
Fee: Varies from $15.00 or $22.00 per Scout, Troop Leader is free.
Minimum: 10 kids per class, if it is less than 10 - please call us
Duration: One hour and thirty minutes per class.
Availability: Monday- Saturday and Sunday (by appointment)

*All classes served with the choice of apple juice or water unless specified. All classes will review Safety & Sanitation guidelines and the importance of oral hygiene: flossing and brushing teeth. Proper food portioning will be taught for each age group and applied. Instructional Materials such as recipes, etc will be provided.

You will find that when preparing and cooking meals that there are hazards and that learning safety in the kitchen will help avoid any potential dangers or accidents.
How: By learning that kitchen safety while making a recipe is practiced every time you cook.
